40% of children living in low income areas aren’t prepared for primary schooling, which increases the chance to fall further behind in high school.
College Success
Less than 30% of students in the bottom quarter of incomes enroll in a 4 year university. Among that group-less than 50% graduate.
Attendance
61% of low income students are chronically absent. Enrichment programs improve their attendance. Those who are regular are able to learn more.
Life Preparation
Only 55% of students attending high school feel prepared to enter the real world
