Student Success Programs

Our programs will help teens balance adulthood while achieving their post-high school goals.

Transition

Statistics show that students struggle with the transition from high school to college. Due to enhanced freedom, many teens make poor decisions and have difficulty balancing life and school. High school students need valuable life tools to ensure a successful adult journey. The Transition program will help teens balance adulthood while achieving their post-high school goals.

Course Elective/after School Program

Link Further believes exposure to fundamental life tools should be a consistent experience for high school students. One of the best ways to achieve that is through a course curriculum.

When students engage in discussions, lessons, and reading materials over a continual period, they have a higher chance of implementation.
The Transition course curriculum will include

Transition Conference

The Transition conference will be a celebratory event for high school seniors.

It will also serve as a platform for students to ask questions regarding their development, discuss issues surrounding their communities, and showcase their talent.

Career Exploration Experience

Exposure allows the student to see what is possible. In low-income areas, many students don’t travel beyond their neighboring cities. Normalizing educational experiences will broaden the vision of students to achieve beyond their current environment.

The Transition Career Exploration Experience will include

Vent

Vent is a program strategically geared toward high school students to promote positive expression. Students will learn how to articulate creative expression through writing and how it can benefit overall speaking, listening, and reading skills. Music is one of the most powerful influences on our youth. Students are in dire need of a resource that focuses on positive images and messages. Majority of urban music presents youth with skewed perceptions of life and success. The key to changing the narrative is to use the same genre of music they are accustomed to but allowing positivity and self-empowerment to be the driving force. Students become what they’re influenced by. Henceforth, if students are presented with an outlet that will empower them to maximize their potential and recognize the importance of why their influence matters, the outcome could be revolutionary for generations to come.
